"May the LORD answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you." Psalm 20:1
One of the things I loved about the video I showed yesterday was the ending. After she's been with God, He walks with her back to the river. She is going back to the place she came from, but she is clean and walking joyfully, head held high - with her Savior.
Isn't that awesome, moms? We may not leave the snot and diaper pit, but after we've met with God, all of our service has more confidence and joy! Hallelujah!
What I love about our verse today is that it doesn't say "if you are ever in distress." It says "when you are in distress." Distress will come - but when it comes, may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
I hope He is the one you are looking to, because He sure is watching you!
