His Intentions Can Not Be Shaken

Psalm 33:8-11

Let the whole world fear the Lord,

and let everyone stand in awe of him.

For when he spoke, the world began!

It appeared at his command.

The Lord frustrates the plans of the nations

and thwarts all their schemes.

But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever;

his intentions can never be shaken.

I find such rest in that passage. Don't you? Say that with me: "The Lord's plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken."

How long do His plans stand? When can His intentions be shaken?

Do you know what the Lord has planned for you? You may not know every detail. But you know he has planned an eternity with you, right? You know he has planned to do everything in his power to bring you closer to him, right?

Are you okay with that?

So when something rocks your world today, remind yourself of this very basic thing. His plans stand firm forever. His intentions can never be shaken.
