Philippians 3:1

"Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near." Philippians 3:1

with some Greek inserted..."Let your gentleness (how considerate and
gentle you are) be known, well-understood to everyone, for the Lord is
approaching, drawing near."

You ever wonder what life would be
like if there were hidden video cameras in your house? I sure do. In
fact I've threatened to hide a few myself to use as incriminating
evidence to members of my own household. LOL!

Well, guess
what! "God is watching!" :) Some interpret this verse to simply mean
that He is always close. Some interpret it to mean that He is coming
back soon. Both are true. Either meaning is motivating.

He
is near, he is watching. What does it mean to be gentle? Who is it the
most difficult to be gentle with? The kids that whine all the time, the
tattle-tale, the person whose personality rubs you the wrong way?

Praying
today that gentleness will be evident in me (and you) because we are
walking so close to him that it just overflows. Galatians 5:22-23
