2 Corinthians 5:15

"And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again." 2 Corinthians 5:15

First of all, I have to say that as I right this, I have two children pulling on my arm and climbing on my shoulder, whining for various things. Sound familiar?

This verse has been a favorite of mine since high school. I had it engraved on the inside of my 1991 class ring. :) To me it was a stamp on my life. He died for me. I live for Him. Period. To me, this verse is like a filter to pass all of my decisions through. "Does this show I'm living for Him?" "If I'm living for Him, would I do this?"

Right now, God is working on my way of "living for Him" by the way I take care of my body. Ugh! It isn't easy.

What about you? What does it mean to you to live your life for Him? What is asking you to give over to Him completely right now?
