Renewing Strength

"but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31

If you'll notice, its been a bit quite here this week. The truth is, I'm really tired. I'm tired in lots of ways. I'm sleepy tired. I just don't have enough hours in the day to get things done. I'm emotionally tired. We're facing some disappointments that honestly just hit us in a really vulnerable spot. Bill and I are both really discouraged.

I've been facing quite a bit of burnout trying to post a daily verse, when I honestly often don't feel there is anything left in me to give out.

So this verse I claim today, not as one I've mastered, but as one I need reminded of.
