I've been thinking a lot lately about the prophecy in Revelation and how it relates to current events. Some of it seems a bit scary, but really, how much gloom and doom is there in the reality that the Lord is coming back?! I can't wait!
My point being, I have a zillion plans of what I'd like to get done just today. I have out of town company coming tonight. I'll be working all day. I'm not sure how to pull off dinner or keep the house relatively clean. I have a few plans, but not sure if they will succeed.
I also have plans of what I'd like to do with the future....what I'd like my kids to be able to do...where I'd like to travel...what kind of house I'd like to own someday. Some of those things may happen. But the reality is, many of them may not. Jesus may come back first.
His purposes will prevail.
When I was young, I used to hope and pray that Jesus wouldn't come back until after I got married. How silly was that? He isn't waiting on anybody else's plans to come together to accomplish His.
What plans do you need to turn over to the Lord today?
