May He Remember

"May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
Selah" Psalm 20:3

I get chills when I think of the New Testament applications of this verse. As David is writing this, he is praying that God will remember the sacrifices and burn offerings that have been made - that God will accept their sacrifices.

Aren't you glad you don't have to ask for that? Our prayers take a whole different tone because we no longer have to make those burnt offerings. The price has been paid.

Our prayer can now be: Lord, remember that your son died for me. Remember that the price has been paid, and I belong to You!

Honestly, do you think He could forget?

Your Protector and Helper remembers the price that was paid for you, and He won't waste Jesus' blood.

Blessings in your service today!
