I'm Coming Back!

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:3

Does that excite you? Do you look forward to it?

In my life, I've seen how my excitement for heaven is in direct proportion to how close I'm walking with Jesus on earth. Our eternity begins at the moment we give our life to Jesus. We spend part of it here, but just a little part. The whole point of heaven is to be with Jesus, and if you aren't really into spending time with Jesus now, heaven won't seem like much to look forward to.

He's coming back! He really is!

^"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

With the kids: Have you ever talked about the Lord's coming with your kids? They usually find it pretty exciting. How 'bout make today the day.
