May It Be

38"I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her. Luke 1

Mary's response is so beautiful. It is the kind of response that immediately lets you know that God picked the right one for this job. She says, "I'm the Lord's servant. Let it be."

What kind of things are you holding so near and dear to your heart, that you wouldn't be able to answer the same way when God reveals something to you? I encourage you to spend some time today praying through that.

With the kids: Again...they are watching. As little ones, they may not catch on...but as they get older, your kids will know when you expect complete obedience from them - but you aren't willing to obey what God has asked from you. Purpose today to be a living example of carrying out the will of your master.

Memorizing:  38"I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her. Luke 1:38
