Hi friends,
I'm sorry to disappear for a few days. We had a lot to do around here. With Bill recently having surgery, we've been a bit behind. We lease several acres here in North Idaho with LOTS of trees. The fall gives us lots of cleanup. So this weekend was spent raking leaves and cutting wood. It was nice to be out on such pretty, sunny, crisp days.
My boys got to roll logs down the mountain, and my oldest has officially learn to split wood. It was fun to watch their little minds turn as they would try to come up with the easiest way to get a job done.
So, I really didn't even get on the computer this last weekend - which is really rare for me. I'm working on some family priorities around here, and learning to schedule my day a little better now that golf season is over. I'm able to plan a little more predictably. :D
On a personal note, we would really appreciate your prayers for our family. My husband has extensive nerve damage in his leg from this last surgery. He isn't able to golf. The season is over for now, here; but looking ahead, were not sure what his future looks like. Also, he typically does tile work during the off season. He is unable to do that either. So, he is looking for work - but not able to do much that he has training and experience in. We would appreciate your prayer for God's direction in his (our) life and for healing for his leg.
Thanks so much!
