Psalm 118:6

On a personal note, my golf pro husband is having surgery on his leg next week. It is the third surgery in a year to remove large cysts that keep forming in his leg. Knowing he is facing an unpaid week of work, he has been taking every shift he's offered. He has currently worked twelve straight days and has five more to go, before he gets a day off. 17 straight days! What a guy! On top of that, he has a side business of repairing golf clubs. Between both jobs, and other things going on, we are averaging about four hours of sleep a night lately. We are very tired, so tonight is really short.

"The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" Psalm 118:6

Read that again. Slowly. Now, outloud!

Think about what that means. What can anyone on this earth come up with to do to you that is big enough, intimidating enough, or powerful enough to stand against the Lord. Can you think of anything? I can't.
